How to obtain
Our immortelle essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the flowering tops of the plant. Our still is made of stainless steel and we do not use fuel, gas or electricity but wood taken from our forests which border the fields of aromatic plants.

The spirit of the plant
This southern flower with the clever name of helichrysum, very present on the Corsican and Mediterranean coasts, is better known under the pretty term immortelle. Helicrysum has a characteristic scent and an intense smell so specific to the Corsican maquis. Helichrysum produces bright yellow flowers reminiscent of the sun, its flowering tops are collected from mid-June to mid-July at the start of the plant’s flowering. We grow 12,000 plants on the farm.
